One of 150 copies printed at the Old Hall Press in Monotype Garamond on Fabriano mould-made paper with the title-page in red and black. Decorated with typographic and woodcut ornaments. This, number V of X copies specially bound in vellum, spine titled by hand in gilt. Fine in slipcase. This first printed collection of Paman's poetry follows the Rawlinson manuscripts where possible. Paman (1612-63) was a contemporary of Davenant, Suckling, Crashaw and Lovelace though not, apparently, a member of the Cavalier circle. Like theirs, his work exhibits the strong influence of John Donne.
