New and enlarged edition. Leather-bound, hardcover, octavo (170 x 110 mm), pp. [xiv], 450. Finely bound in full marbled calf signed by Mudie, spine with five raised bands, gilt titles to spine and upper cover, gilt inner dentelles, all page edges gilt, marbled endpapers, half-title present, frontispiece and illustrations by D. G. Rossetti, head-pieces. Printed by R. & R. Clark, Edinburgh. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure the hinges intact. Light shelf wear to covers, rear cover with a small dark mark. Some light foxing to endpapers, the rear pastedown with a small water mark, contents otherwise very nicely preserved. Previous owner name neatly inked to front endpaper.
