"Privately printed for Eton College in the Riccardi Press Fount of the Medici Society Limited. The bound-in Eton presentation page "Hunc Librum… Ab Etona Discedenti Dono Dedit… Magister Informator. Etonae A.D. MCMxxx" has been completed by Thomas Gordon Brocklebank and Claudius Aurelius Elliott (headmaster) and dated 1939. Translation reads "This book is a retirement gift from Eton", these books where presented to each boy when leaving. Vellum with Eton College crest to front in gilt; gilt titles to spine; light blue marbled endpapers. Condition: Very good. Boards and spine scraped in places and a little grubby. Stains from old tape to endpapers, where a cover has been removed. Internally a little age-toned, with occasional marks, but generally bright. Size: 10.5x8in / 27x20cm. 87pp. Weight: 700g.".
