Hardcover with off-white cloth over boards, gold lettering and decoration across front cover and spine. Spine toned about a shade darker than covers, now a pale brown. Further toning along edges, light scuffs across covers likely due to shelf wear. Corners gently bumped. All lettering still legible, no structural damage. Title and copyright pages dated only 1924. 350 pages. Former owner's name written neatly on front free endpaper, dated 1924. No further annotation. Pages all very lightly foxed, never rendering text illegible or significantly toning the page. Open tear to the corner of page 349/350 (part of the index of first lines), does not touch text block. No other pages torn. Binding overall neat, shallowly cracked between pages 96 and 97, and 288 and 289. No loose pages. Please email us with questions or to request photos.

Store description
We're at 805 Caroline Street, in the heart of Fredericksburg's historic district. Open Monday to Saturday 10-6; and Sunday 12-5. In warmer months we stay open until 9 most nights, but you might want to call ahead. (540) 373-6148 Shipping rates are for Media Mail, in a padded envelope - WE DO NOT ADD TRACKING UNLESS THE CUSTOMER REQUESTS IT AND PAYS FOR IT - we have been selling books online for more than 20 years & find that the USPO delivers 99.99% of packages quickly and safely, without any need for a tracking number. We trust them & we hope you will too. If you need tracking, please consider PRIORITY SHIPPING. We ship orders valued at more than $50 in a box, at no additional charge. Priority mailing is for a Flat-Rate envelope, with tracking included. If the book does not fit into a flat rate envelope, we will likely need to request extra shipping costs from you, in order to put it in a box. We only charge the actual amount of shipping, so we hope you'll understand that it's just a matter of getting the book to you without taking a loss on it -- shipping is a service we happily offer without a 'handling' charge.... but we can't afford to charge you less than the cost of the stamps!…

Terms of sale
Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
If you'd like tracking, please let us know before you place the order - We're happy to do it but it costs $1 extra because it means we have to print a shipping label for it individually, slowing down the shipping process considerably -- and we want to be able to keep basic shipping costs as low as we can.
