12vo. Half bound green calf on marbled boards. Gilt decoration and tooling to spines with title and volume block. Boards are rubbed and top of spine worn on vol. 2. Frontispiece and title page engravings on both volumes. page vii on vol. 1 has an open tear in need of repair. All pages in both volumes are tight and clean. Name on title page of both volumes (Mary Spence). An attractive and rare set. Vol. 1 consists of The Life of Spencer plus The Faery Queene. xviii+ 7 +483.
