Important early Australian poetry. Poems include "Australia" (third edition) plus 24pp notes on the convict ship, 9pp of introduction to the poem. Inscribed "With the Author's Regards." Including a third edition of Australia. Sml 8vo, xiv + 286pp + 2pp ills. 1/2 blk leather and mottled boards, hinges cracked. Also includes a poem 'Cleopatra Dying' by Thomas Collier and 'Antony and Cleopatra' tipped onto rear endpapers. Internally clean and bright.
