2 volumes 8vo, 466 and 415pp, frontis engravings in both volumes, contemporary full leather some good time ago spines have been replaced and original boards laid on, bindings are a bit edge rubbed and aged, spines bit rubbed, bindings are still sound,prelims in both volumes foxed as are the engravings,little foxing to the text , the text is good and clean, owners name on the front end paper, john gardner ( composer) from his library.
