A Poor copy of a three volume set of the "Poetical Works" of Henry W. Longfellow that was published in Germany but is in the English language. Part of the "Collection Of British Authors" series. From Title page:"With The Portrait Of The Author" All three volumes have extensive wear to brick red boards. All three have marbled endpapers and page edgings on all sides. All three also have green ribbon place holders. Curl to corners of boards to all three volumes. Volume 1 or 347, has invisable tape along the spine but the front boards and front flyleaf are separated from the pages. This volume was published in 1856. 399 pages. Gilt lettering is still crisp on spine but are dulled on the front. Contents of Volume 1 include:"Voices Of The Night; Earlier Poems; Translations; Ballads And Other Poems; Poems On Slavery; The Spanish Student; The Belfry Of Bruges And Other Poems; Evangeline; The Seaside And The Fireside" Volume 2 or 348, has wear along spine with chipping at both ends. Gilt lettering is still crisp on spine but are dulled on the front. This volume was published in 1856. 322 pages.
