See photos for condition details. Hardcover, blind stamped brown cloth boards with gilt design on spine. This was published in a single volume and not part of a two volume set. We have several copies of this book at the time of this listing and each was has been listed separately with their own set of photos. Exterior shows scuffing and some spotting, spine is faded with chips along the top. Edges and corners show bumps/wear. The internal binding is good for the most part but there is some areas where it is not. The hinge at the front board has almost a 2 inch crack at the top and the next front end page hinge is pulled at the bottom. The rear hinge is good and the pages with the poems are mostly tight. There is a gift inscription written in pencil on the front pastedown and you can see very faint evidence of what was probably a price written in the upper corner of the opposite end page. No other handwriting found, no bookplates, no library markings. Pages are bright but there is some light scattered foxing throughout (except for the frontis which is heavily foxed because of the different types of paper reacting). A very good reading copy has the binding is strong with nothing torn or loose.…
