Bound in attractive yellow decorative boards. The front panels has elaborate decorations in black with a gilt panel for the author's name and some green floral decorations behind this. Black and gilt on the spine and the rear panel is blind stamped. The boards have a little rubbing to the corners but are otherwise clean and unmarked. There is a little browning to the page edges with scattered spotting to the bottom edges. Original owner's name, location and date (1886) on the page with the publishers' preface. The pages are slightly browned with small 6creases to the top corners of a few pages.
