With a Portrait and a View of Newstead Abbey.Black leather book, large and thick, ornate raised design to all of front, gilt bright on badly worn spine, 829 pages in double-column format with thin black frame on each page. Foxing to end papers including frontispiece of young Byron. Includes facsimiles of several pages from Byron's diary. Covers badly worn at edges and tips, large tear at spine top right and folded back, six-inch tear from spine bottom right up to short of other tear. All edges gilt. Reading Copy.
