Poetry from the Heart

When life shatters, where do you take the pieces? Poetry From The Heart is a Christian poetry collection born out of some of life's deepest valleys: divorce, betrayal, childhood abuse, financial collapse, homelessness, and the slow goodbye of a father dying of cancer. Out of those wounds came over 100 poems written between 1997 and 2002, now gathered to offer Christian poems about grief and healing, hope and suffering, redemption and God's grace. Through vivid, relatable images of barns and wildflowers, storms and deserts, exams and empty tombs, Randall J. Gibbons gives voice to the questions many believers are afraid to ask. These are Christian poems about loss, broken families, trauma, and shame, yet every page keeps reaching toward the God who restores "the years that the locusts have eaten." Inside this Christian poetry book, you will find:

-Christian poems about grief and loss that speak honestly about death, mourning, and the hope of heaven.

-Christian poems about healing and inner restoration for those carrying the weight of past abuse, secret sins, and regret.

-Christian poems about God's grace and mercy that celebrate forgiveness, second chances, and a fresh start in Christ.

-Christian poems about faith, suffering, and trust for days when you feel like Job and cannot make sense of your trials.

-Devotional reflections and Scripture (KJV) that anchor each poem in the promises of God's Word. If you are looking for Christian poems of encouragement, a Christian grief resource, or a faith-filled gift for someone walking through trauma, Poetry From The Heart offers a quiet place to weep, to wrestle, and to heal. Come sit with these poems of Christian hope and let the God of all grace, mercy, and healing meet you line by line.
