Straight from Hawaii, POGS is a tiddledywinks type of game played with colorful cardboard milk-bottle caps that have the trading appeal of baseball cards. Like marbles, the game of POGS is appealing in its simplicity and lack of official rules. The book has pages of eye-catching photos and all the information needed to get started playing and trading. After tracing the history of the caps from Japan to the U.S., the author explains how to play the main game and variations and includes definitions of the POGS jargon. He also gives information on tournaments and how to join them as well as tips on collecting and preserving the milk caps.
