About the Author

Author Bruce Rogerson is a resident of Fort Bragg and a history docent and volunteer at the nearby Point Cabrillo Light Station. He serves on the board of the Point Cabrillo Lightkeepers Association and is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 8-7, whose members continue to maintain the historic Fresnel lens at Point Cabrillo. Culling images from public and private collections, Rogerson has crafted this fascinating overview of the light station's history.
