The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is the research, development and evaluation agency of the US Department of Justice. David Weisburd is professor of criminology at the Hebrew University Law School in Jerusalem, and senior research fellow in the Institute of Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is author or editor of nine books and numerous scholarly articles.
