Provenance: White House (of William Howrd Taft) Library and sent to the Library of Congress on the last day of Taft's presidency, 3 March 1913, with a rubber stamp impression on the back of the title page to attest to this. There is a Library of Congress surplus rubber stamp on the rear wrapper. Nice copy, about VG.

Produced during a period of intense labor conflict in the United States and aimed to portray the Iron Molders? Union of North America as violent and lawless and uncooperative. It describes the period 1904-1907 and in a documentary style and interviews describes assaults and armed attacks, riots, intimidation of non-strikers attacks on employers amd strike breakers.
