It focuses on contemporary political problems, and it is intended to be paired with any of the numerous readers which are dedicated to the history of political philosophy. However, while the anthologies on the history of political philosophy are numerous, there are relatively few sources (and even fewer single sources) that focus on contemporary political problems. About the Author

Steven Cahn is currently a full professor at the graduate School and University Center at the City University of New York. Robert Talisse is currently an associate professor of philosphy and political science at Vanderbilt University.
