Stiff card-stock wrappers with black lettering to front and spine. Book is tight, square, sharp-cornered particularly given format, and free of major flaws or markings inside or out - close to fine but certainly Near Fine. Does have a stamp on the front that reads "PREPRINT (Chaps. 1-14)" in red. Unsure if this was some sort of review copy. Purchased from an estate that had many other mid-century books on politics - prior owner was a professor of political science at Bennington.
