Mimeographed broadside, printed on one side of legal-sized leaf, approx. 8-1/2 X 14 inches. Text-heavy broadside, calling for support for the anti-Poll Tax bill sponsored by Sen. Claude Pepper (D-Fla) and Rep. Lee Geyer (D-Calif.), which was being filibustered by southern senators. The Pepper-Geyer bill was the first anti-poll tax legislation in Congress. It was derailed by the filibuster, but Pepper continued to work on it for years afterward (Geyer died in 1942) and it ultimately led to the 24th amendment to the US Constitution in 1964.
