Hence, investigations on novel and new materials that are abundant, less toxic and environmentally safe to handle with better properties are important. In this direction, Sn and S are two elements that exist in stable form, suitable for solar cell application. This book deals with synthesis of Sn-S films by a simple and economic technique, chemical bath deposition, followed by discussion of results on the analysis of these layers. SnS2/SnS heterojunction solar cell was developed to demonstrate the photovoltaic potential of this structure.
