Jones in Little Brittane. This is a copy of the variant 2nd edition (Wing S445A), sharing the same engraved title, but with John Crumpe as the seller on the title page, and with 15 plates instead of the 14 usually in the other version ( see: Arber, Term Catalogues, I.123. 21Nov.Michelmas 1672).The first edition had been published the previous year by the same printers, but for Richard Jones at the Golden Lion in Little Britain. ; a smaller work in three books, 294 pages and without plates, but with an engraved frontispiece dropped from subsequent editions. The engraved title and most plates are by William Sherwin, with a few by William Vaughan. In a contemporary blind speckled calf, rebacked with remains of the original spine laid down.
