Our antiquarian bookshop "De Lezenaar" has been established in August 1997. It is situated in Hasselt, capital of the Belgian province Limburg.
We are member of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB-LILA), as well as of their Belgian branch (BBA-CLAM).
We are specialised in philosophy, religion, Oriental studies, (local and general) history, art and linguistics. In addition we also offer books in a wide range of other subjects such as medecine, psychology, esoterism, ... Our stock contains over 50.000 books, series and periodicals, with a strong emphasis on academic and rare publications.
Our bookshop is open by appointment.

Titles are offered subject to prior sale. The chronology of incoming orders will be strictly respected. The books are generally in a good condition (minor defects are not always stated). An E-mail will be sent to inform about the availability and the total expenses (incl. forwarding expenses). Pre-payment is required. The ordered books will be on hold for 2 weeks, until we have received payment.
