This VG+ quality second format book was copyrighted in 1920 and was published by the Henry Altemus Company; it is 7-9/16" tall with 212 numbered pages of text followed by 4 unnumbered pages of ads. This book has a slight lean, is very clean, free of edge dings with the top front corner lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with some color loss; the bottom edges have very little wear. The spine is very clean and not faded; all the lettering and the image are bright and intact. The front panel is spotlessly clean and has virtually no wear. Except for a penciled name on the FFEP, the interior is free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. Both hinges are quite strong and not damaged in any fashion. The text paper is very slightly toned and the paper remains extremely flexible. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. It has a frontis + 3 on plain paper. The list at the rear of the book lists all 12 titles in this series. The VG+ quality jacket is very clean with small chips at all four corners, along with tiny chips and folds at the head and heel of the spine. The front panel is virtually intact and not at all faded.
