Pop! Here Comes The Sun!

Pop! Here Comes The Sun! is a spiritual book for children. It is about the Sun’s relationship with the Earth, particularly pertaining to what that relationship means to kids. This unique storyline follows ethnically diverse children through the natural cycles of both a day and a year at the same time. The book addresses some of the deeper spiritual inquiries and natural curiosities that children hold in their hearts, while being presented in a way that is lighthearted, rhythmic, playful, and open ended. This book teaches children reverence for Mother Earth and all of her creatures; educates children about light, color, and energy; focuses kid’s attention on a more cosmic perspective of our existence; explores the nature of consciousness; and broadly poses the question “is life just a dream?” The central message is one of awakened dreaming. This is a perfect bedtime book for parents to read to their little ones. First, second, and third graders can practice reading this book to their parents. Both children and grownups will be inspired by the fun verses and colorful illustrations of Pop! Here Comes The Sun!
