Porphyrios Associates (Hardcover)

Hardcover. Porphyrios Associates is one of the most renowned traditionalist/classicist architecture, interior design, and urban design firms. Based in London, its practice can be compared to other distinguished, contemporary traditionalists firms on which Rizzoli has previously published several successful books. In a time when radical, avant-garde buildings by such architects as Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid and Thom Mayne vie for attention, Porphyrios has gained a large following with buildings that look like they might have come from long-past times. In this large, profusely illustrated book, the firm's work since its last monograph 15 years ago is highlighted. The new book, Porphyrios Associates: The Allure of the Classical, features residential projects in Greece, Jordan, England, France, and the U.S., and other major new projects in Germany, Egypt, and at Oxford, Cambridge, and Princeton Universities. A celebration of new traditional buildings by a renowned classicist. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
