Appendixes provide statistical tables and lists of major companies, government offices, etc. While it handles essentially the same subjects as The 1994 Information Please Business Almanac & Desk Reference ( LJ 10/1/93), this work by a professor at Dartmouth College's business school treats them quite differently, resulting in little overlap between these two very useful titles. Public, academic, and business libraries should own both.
