Eva Higgins has returned to Earth after escaping the evil clutches of Ceann Olc on Faetir. The Olc, who killed her best friend, Derek, forced Eva to use her powers and portal back to her home on Earth. She has lost her blood-bonded mate, Calder, and is no closer to finding answers about her powers or her past. Worse still, returning to Earth has put Eva in the crosshairs of her old nemesis, Mr. Roper. In an ambiguous turn of events, however, she strikes a precarious truce with him after they discover a common enemy in the Olc.

As pieces are moved around the board, Eva portals back to Faetir to seek alliances in a war to defeat the Olc. As plans unfold Eva's world is shattered when she uncovers two secrets: One kept from her by her Most Trusted, Brynjar, and the other by her enemy, Ceann. Eva is left with a choice - stay true to her convictions, or follow her heart.

Volume III: CONVERGENCE GATE

Betrayed by her Most Trusted, Eva uses her power to flee into the arms of her blood-bonded, Calder. Tired of fighting, she escapes with him to the desolate nation of Ra'Day. But her newfound peace is short-lived, for the thought of her best friend under the control of Ceann Olc haunts her.

Brynjar, angry at himself, escapes to the bottom of a bottle as the war against Kamalan House rages on. Walter and Grace try to uncover the mystery of the Third Standing to find answers. Annad and Maggie travel across the realms to enlist the aid of the allied nations against the Olc and his siege against the Kamalans, but garnering support proves more difficult than expected.

After his deal with the devil, Mr. Roper falls deeper into Ceann's grasp. He gives his empire to Freya so he can concentrate on destroying Eva, but his alliance with the fearsome dictator is more than he bargained for.

The mysterious Enkelts, Vitur, and Shakti reveal their origins and true intentions as their machinations come to fruition.

In a whirlwind of converging events, Eva finds herself at a crossroads and must determine what and who is truly important to her.

Jonathan is avid reader and writer of the fantasy and sci-fi genres. He has been writing and drawing since he was a teenager, and finally turned his dream into a reality. His first novel "Blood Bonded" was published in 2021, and is the first book in the Portal and Key Chronicles Trilogy.
