PorterMonkey Books is a family-owned online bookstore specializing in scarce books, niche titles, out-of-print works, first editions, monographs, and sometimes rare editions. I have a special affection for finely bound volumes, collectors editions, miniature books, vintage treasures, and beautifully engineered pop-up books - and I can never resist the truly odd and curious book. I truly love what I do - connecting readers and collectors with unique books they might not find anywhere else, and sending them to new homes around the world. We regularly ship internationally and take great care with every order, packaging each book securely and shipping promptly to ensure it arrives in excellent condition.

Each order is shipped within two business days and carefully packaged. US orders under 4 lbs ship standard as media mail, unless proirity is selected by buyer. Overweight books, generally over 4 lbs, are shipped on a calculated shipping basis, taking into acccount weight and distance. Insurance is not included for any orders other than paid priority and should be purchased by buyer when ordering.
We do ship internationally to selected destinations. International prices are based on weight bands -- Under 2lbs or Under 4lbs. Please see current prices at check out. Over 4 lbs is calculated on weight and distance. AbeBooks collects and remits tax on behalf of our customers, if required by legislation to do so during the checkout process. If you place an order that is tax applicable, an estimated tax will be displayed to you during the checkout process.
