A set of the 8 color plates plus b/w facsimiles of the engraved frontispiece and title pages; reprinted from the 1848 edition of Jones's Guide to Norway, loose in paper folder with tipped-on title label, facsimile title page and publisher's announcement card. Housed in a felt-lined red, cloth-covered tray case with silk pull, gilt titles & decoration. Plates measure approx 6"x9.25" with images a bit smaller; published in an unnumbered edition of 500 copies. Both case and the plates are in fine condition. Somewhat hard-to-find as this title sold quickly after publication.
