His name is The Honorable Paul Grant Rogers, and he is the man who got the Clean Air Act through the House, salvaged the “s” in the National Institutes of Health, fast-forwarded the War on Cancer, and then expanded the schools, workforce, clinics, and hospitals to support it all. About the Author

Roger J. Bulger has a distinguished 30-year background in healthcare leadership. Currently president of the Association of Academic Health Centers, he was previously president of the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston and chancellor of the University Massachusetts Medical Center at Worcester, as well as dean of the medical school. Dr. Bulger has held tenured academic posts in internal medicine, community medicine, and public health at four major universities. He lives with his wife in Washington, D.C. They have two grown daughters. Shirley Sirota Rosenberg has been a writer, editor, and journalist for all her professional life, and taught in the Publications Specialist Program, George Washington University. As Washington correspondent for Parents' Magazine, she covered the healthcare-research beat when she was raising her children. Over a 40-year career, Rosenberg has served as lead editor on numerous high-level government publications. Rosenberg lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband. They have a grown son and daughter.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 15 days of the Estimated Delivery Date for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Any customer wishing to return a book has 30 days to do so if they are not entirely satisfied.
