Jim Thompson is the author of Shooting in the Dark: Tales of Coaching and Leadership and The Double-Goal Coach. He founded Positive Coaching Alliance in 1998 at Stanford University where he teaches courses on coaching, leadership and sport and spirituality.

As Executive Director of the Positive Coaching Alliance, Thompson directs an organization sweeping the U.S. because it provides solutions to some of youth sports most perplexing problems.
