About the Author
Sandra L. Foster, PhD, PCC, is a business coach and peak performance psychology expert now based in Charleston, South Carolina, after living and working in Europe for eight years. She is a licensed psychologist, a Chartered British Psychologist, and holds the International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach Credential. She has been a College of Executive Coaching senior faculty member since 2001. She was a principal in Korn/Ferry International s Leadership & Talent Consulting group, based in London and then in Los Angeles, before returning to independent coaching and consulting practice. Her clients are executives, emerging leaders, and entrepreneurs, as well as musicians, actors, and writers. Dr. Foster received her doctorate from Stanford University and served on the faculty as acting assistant professor and consulting associate professor. She speaks internationally on performance enhancement for leaders and positive psychology in coaching. Dr. Foster is the co-author of two sport psychology books and numerous scholarly articles and book chapters. Jeffrey E. Auerbach, PhD, MCC, a licensed psychologist, is the founder of the College of Executive Coaching. He designs and delivers executive coaching programs globally. Dr. Auerbach is a specialist in positive psychology based and emotional intelligence enhancing coaching approaches. He designs and delivers custom leadership programs to develop peak-performing leaders. Dr. Auerbach speaks internationally on executive well-being, emotional intelligence, and executive peak performance. Dr. Auerbach is past vice president of the global board of directors of the International Coach Federation. Auerbach is the author of the classic coaching book, Personal and Executive Coaching: The Complete Guide for Mental Health Professionals, now in its twentieth printing, and the widely used Well-Being Coaching Workbook: Everything Needed for the Coaching Participant. He holds a PhD in psychology and is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, the Chicago School, and Antioch University. Dr. Auerbach holds the Master Certified Coach Credential, the highest level of credential in the coaching industry, from the International Coach Federation.
