Post Office Bay brings to life the remarkable true story of an extraordinary mail system that has operated on trust and goodwill for nearly 250 years!
This heartwarming intergenerational tale follows young Oliver as he discovers his family's unexpected connection to this unique place through his grandfather's memories.
The story illuminates how a simple wooden barrel on a Galápagos island shoreline became a symbol of human connection, linking sailors and loved ones across vast oceans in an era long before instant communication.
Through Oliver's journey of discovery, readers will explore:
Perfect for cultivating discussions about communication then and now, the impact of small kindnesses, and how history weaves through family stories. This beautifully illustrated tale brings history to life while celebrating the bonds between generations and the unexpected ways we remain connected to each other.
