Custom Binding by Bayntun, Binder, Bath: Red leather 3/4 bound to spine and corners with gilt rulings separating leather from marbled paper on boards. Equestrian gilt designs and titling to spine - pale marbled endpapers. Tissue guarded frontis of the subject matter - Henry Hall Dixon. Several other plates inside. Book by The Druid (Dixon) with the same exact binding is for sale too - "Post and Paddock." We also have several other works from the Druid Sporting Library, all by H.H. Dixon. Only flaw to this book is leather on spine is a bit sunned and brittle.
