About the Author

K�tia da Costa Bezerra, Ph.D., is Professor and associate head of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Arizona. She has published in major journals and is a member of the Transmodernity: Journal of Peripheral Cultural Production of the Luso-Hispanic World and The Rocky Mountain Review editorial boards.
