Covers show edge wear, slight residue from a paper label on Vol. II. Interior shows signature of "Capt. Robert Patterson, Belfast", as well as "M. G. Crosby" on the front free endpaper of Vol. I. Embossed stamp on the title page and occasional interior page for "Belfast Free Library, Belfast, Maine" [no other library markings], light foxing, occasional small edge stain.
