About this Item

The Postman Always Rings Twice, by James M. Cain. First published in 1934 by Knopf. This edition, published by Grosset and Dunlap, New York, has all the hallmarks of a 1946 edition that was published as a link to the film noir classic that starred Lana Turner and John Garfield. No date on this edition, which only makes reference to the 1934 copyright. No DJ. Black cloth with red/orange lettering. Inside and outside are in very good condition for an edition that is 75 years old.
