A scarce cookbook issued in order to raise funds for the public library in Potter Valley, Mendocino County, California. The recipes are each attributed, and each page of recipes is accompanied by a page of advertisements on the facing page. Includes recipes for tamale pie (2 recipes), vegetable tamales, Turkish ragout, California nut cake, Fairy Banquet Pudding, grape juice pudding, and more. Not found in OCLC. Chipping to corners of wrappers, slight chipping to outer corners of first and last few leaves, ghosting from old tape along spine, staining to covers, slight damp staining along fore edge, staining/spattering to pages, mostly mild, but more significant to four or so pages.
