Gilt lettering to front board and backstrip. Gilt design on front board, in the shape of a pottery piece. Bumped corners. Page edges age toned. Scratches on front board. Library sticker inside front board. Front and back hinge split. No foxing. End papers in place. Large frontispiece with tissue guard. 150 illustrations and 7 coloured plates. Pages have very minimal age toning. No pen or pencil markings. Pages are clean and text is clear.
