A very good copy of this classic work illustrated by Harrison Weir and enhanced with 30 chromolitho colour plates printed by the Leighton Brothers. Closed tears to hinge area of frontispiece with 1" closed tear to top of pages 13-16 with no loss. Occasional minor foxing to text pages and page 221 has a lower corner torn off (1/2") without loss.
