Power Electronic Converters and its Applications: MATLAB Based Simulation Studies

This book provides comprehensive coverage to exposure to the students about multilevel inverters and Power Quality Problems Using FACTS DEVICES. This book provides the details of causes, effects and mitigation methods of harmonics in power systems also, gives the idea of modeling of an active power filter using three different harmonic extraction methods with new hysteresis witching strategy. To impart the students with various FACTS devices which are used for proper existing AC system more flexible in normal and abnormal conditions PWM Techniques. This book can be used to teach engineering course in UG & PG Courses for EEE, EIE, M.E/M.Tech for Specialization Course for Power Electronics, Power systems, Electrical Power Systems, Control Systems students.
