About the Author

The Author: Janne Sepp�nen is Professor of Visual Journalism at the University of Tampere, Finland, where he received his Ph.D. in communication studies. He specializes in research on visual culture. Sepp�nen has published five monographs on photography and visual culture as well as dozens of scientific articles.
