This book is a worthwhile investment in you, providing moments for you to reflect on how you can support a positive and holistic environment for all those you meet. The author, Cecilia B. Loving, deepens our awareness of the potential of diversity and inclusion by helping us realize that inclusion is not merely for those we seek to include but is also vital to our own healing. We spent a lot of energy in the last few decades focusing on the business case for diversity, but we have barely scratched the surface of the wellbeing case for inclusion. Diversity means nothing unless we welcome everyone with the tools and opportunities to succeed, value everyone’s participation, and provide everyone with the psychological safety of belonging.
