Mona M. Hella is an associate professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems; and a trust leader for the NSF Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center. Dr. Hella has held positions at RF Micro-Devices, Spirea-AB, and several other companies. Patrick Mercier is an assistant professor and co-director of the Center for Wearable Sensors at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
