About the Author
Devin Robinson made two major transitions in his professional career. First, he transitioned from the government as a military soldier to corporate as a network engineer where he worked for WorldCom during its accounting fraud. Then he transitioned from corporate to entrepreneurship where he built successful businesses for himself and for others. He had pitfalls but recovered with lessons learned, which he shares. He is a business and economics professor at several universities. He taught and developed economics courses such as Government Economics, International Economics, Microeconomics, History of Economics, Environmental Economics and Industrial Economics at Oglethorpe University. He taught in the Retail Management program for Bellevue University. His business teachings include Business Ethics, Organizational Behavior, Small Business Management, Service Sector Management and Introduction to Business at Southern Crescent College. He founded Beauty Supply Institute, an organization with a host of online courses and resources for the beauty retailing sector. Devin resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he continues to operate his businesses.
