Of course, the love for your children is strong. However, unless you are careful and intentional, day after day you can be with your children, but not connect with your children. Heighten your awareness to the seven preventers of play that keep you from truly engaging with your chilldren. Then armor yourself with the seven powers of play. Your children will be so happy that you did and so will you! Playing and connecting - our children deserve and need our eyes and our engagement!

About the Author: Cara Jakab is a wife to her best friend and a mother to her four gifts from God. Most importantly, she is a daughter of the KING. She has a desire to daily put on the garment of praise and a passion to have her story bring God glory. She believes each child everywhere matters to God. She wants to spend her life advocating for children, near and far. When not advocating for children, you may find her climbing up a mountain of laundry or climbing up a mountain in the Rockies. Cara lives in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She has a passion to daily pursue and connect with her children. She also has a desire to inspire other parents to intentionally engage with their children.
