Power Reading has been developed by Rick Ostrov, the reading instructor who has been seen by more people than any other in history. For years he has been seen on television in every major city in the United States and many foreign countries.
Rick's students read like a list of executives from Americas largest companies - IBM, AT&T, GM - and so on. In addition, he's taught scientists, doctors, lawyers, teachers, secretaries, blue collar workers and thousands of and students.
He is most famous for the documentary done on his class where he taught the entire engineering faculty - 63 Ph.D.'s-full professors - of the University of Texas in Austin. This documentary was used by the world's largest private reading improvement company of which Rick was the top instructor. This was the Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics company. For years Rick was also the star in their television commercials.
Rick left them to pursue his research for more effective methods in reading practical, technical and study type materials.
