MORE Power!: Understanding and Experiencing the Cross (Embracing Life)

MORE POWER! At the center of life in God (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit) is the Cross. The message that simple symbol - two pieces of wood - conveyed 2,000 years ago was forever changed when Jesus' sinless flesh was nailed to it and His blood poured out for us. What once symbolized only death now proclaims a new reality and transformed life for all people and creation. Christ's defeat of sin and death at Calvary on the Cross is creatively, miraculously available to us today. More Power! invites you to explore it's profound meaning and application for yourself. EMBRACING LIFE MINISTRIES (ELM) Founded in 1985, ELM is a healing and equipping ministry. We focus on reviving hope, reclaiming authority, and restoring true identity in Christ through our face to face and online classes, books, podcasts, and digital resources. Together we learn to confront and overcome life's challenges of anxiety, fear, shame, self-hatred, and depression by exchanging them for the dynamic "abundant" life promised us by Jesus Himself in John 10:10. JONATHAN HUNTER Founder and Director of Embracing Life Ministries, Jonathan is the author of the 14-week Embracing Life Series guidebook - the source material behind the "More" series of booklets (listed above: upper right). Jonathan's message - across media, in churches, universities, schools and at diverse conferences - is always about the transforming power of a life lived in Christ. His Talkin' Life podcast explores an expansive swath of "Life" from a Christian perspective as he engages with friends and leaders in lively, thoughtful conversation.
