About the Author: Rod Casey is passionate about equipping next generation ministry leaders. He is the director ofthe "Theological Education Initiative (TEI), teimissouri.org, a Christian Study Center serving thetheologically under-resourced in Central Missouri. After more than three decades in pastoralministry, he and his wife now serve as the mentors they wish they'd had. Rod is a graduate ofDallas Theological Seminary and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Talbot School ofTheology. In addition to his mentoring, he teaches preaching and writes for Preaching Magazineand Preaching Today. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Julie. She cares aboutemotionally healthy spirituality and coming alongside women needing healing from the pain oftheir stories. They have four grandchildren they adore and enjoy spending time with their twodaughters and their husbands. Rod lives under the illusion that with better coaching he couldhave played in the NBA.
