The Poydras Ring

A cursed ring. A haunted legacy. A love story that refuses to die.

In the sultry heart of New Orleans, Celeste Noyan finds an old ring tucked away in her father’s trunk—an heirloom tied to her family’s mysterious past. But when she slips it on, something ancient stirs. Her dreams fill with the voice of Emile Poydras, her 19th-century ancestor, and the line between past and present begins to blur.

As her wedding day approaches, Celeste is pulled into a dangerous web of Voodoo magic, forbidden love, and family secrets that refuse to stay buried. To save herself—and those she loves—she must uncover the truth about the ring before it claims another soul.

Moving between antebellum Louisiana and modern-day New Orleans, Ed Lee’s story brings to life a world of duels and devotion, betrayal and redemption, where Marie Laveau’s shadow still lingers and the dead are never truly gone.

Will Celeste break the curse before it consumes her, or will she become the next victim of the Poydras ring’s dark promise?
